How long does it take to build a custom LiPo battery?
We strive to respond to enquiries within 24 hours during our business hours. Once your quote is accepted and payment is received, we typically dispatch custom batteries within 2–3 working days. This timeline depends on whether we have the required cells in stock and the quantity of packs requested.
If production is expected to take longer, a team member will contact you promptly with an updated delivery estimate to keep you informed.
How do I determine the voltage and capacity I need?
Voltage depends on your device’s requirements, while capacity (measured in mAh) determines how long the battery will run for. If you’re unsure, check your device’s specifications or contact us for assistance.
What if I need a capacity larger than the cells you have available?
If your application requires a higher capacity than a single cell can provide, we can design a custom battery pack by combining multiple cells in parallel. This allows us to achieve virtually any capacity while maintaining the required voltage and performance.
Parallel configurations are indicated in the enquiry form by the (2P) notation next to the capacity. Please note that in these cases, the pack will be considerably thicker, as it contains double the number of cells compared to a 1P pack. (For example, a 3S pack has 3 cells, while a 3S2P pack has 6 cells.)
What is the C-rating, and why is it important?
The C-rating indicates how quickly a battery can safely discharge. A higher C-rating is needed for devices requiring bursts of high power, like RC cars or drones.
Can you match my battery to a specific size or shape?
LiPo cells come in fixed sizes and weights that cannot be altered. However, if size and weight are critical factors, let us know your specific requirements, and our team will explore all possible solutions to meet your needs. While we may not always be able to match your exact specifications, we will do our best to propose a suitable alternative.
What types of connectors do you offer?
We offer a range of connectors to suit different battery sizes and applications:
- For smaller packs: JR Universal, Mini Tamiya, SM2P, Spektrum, XT30
- For medium packs: Deans, EC3, EC5, Gold Connectors, Tamiya, Traxxas, XT30, XT60, XT90, XT150
- For large-scale packs: AS150, QS8, XT150

Is there a minimum order quantity?

Can I modify my order after submitting the form?
Yes, as long as the battery hasn’t gone into production. Please contact us as soon as possible to make changes.
Do you provide warranties for custom batteries?
Yes, our custom batteries come with a 12-month standard warranty, covering any manufacturing defects. However, as each battery is built to order, we cannot accept returns if there is no fault—for example, if the battery is no longer required or does not suit your application.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the battery specifications meet their requirements before production begins. Once assembly has started, orders cannot be cancelled.
How much does a custom LiPo battery cost?
Costs vary depending on specifications like voltage, capacity, and additional features. We’ll provide a tailored quote after reviewing your requirements.
Do you ship internationally?
Unfortunately, we are unable to ship batteries outside of the UK. If international shipping is required, it is the customer’s responsibility to arrange a forwarding service.
